Philosophy

FSI Energy's consulting philosophy is distinguished by the following characteristics:

• We work as partners with our clients striving to obtain a thorough understanding of each client's particular perspective and perform our consulting work within the context of this understanding.
• We seek long-term relationships with our clients in order to serve them better.
• We don't apply pre-packaged fixes that may not fully satisfy the client's objectives. FSI conducts a comprehensive analysis of each client's business operations and energy issues before generating recommendations. This allows us to offer optimal solutions to your energy needs that balance energy savings with reliability.
• We are willing to share the risk via shared savings compensation.

Fees

FSI Energy's compensation can be based on our performance on your behalf, or on a fee for services. Our performance based compensation is structured under a "Shared Savings" program. We are compensated for our services after we have saved you money and only after you have begun realizing the savings from our services.

FSI Energy's Shared Savings Program:

• Guarantees that there is no net cost to you for our services
• Guarantees that you receive your energy savings before we get paid
• Guarantees that our compensation is performance based
• Guarantees that your interests are our highest priority

Our work on a time and expense basis is typically performed under a continuing services agreement, allowing you to specify a defined scope. We have clients for whom we do work under both these fee structures, and in some cases perform multiple assignments simultaneously under different fee structures.
